Tech-Free Tuesday

Every Tuesday, during lunch, the Oasis has adopted a ‘Tech Free Zone’.

This began on a trial basis as a fun and healthy alternate to encourage the students to get back to interacting with each other by playing games away from their screen entertainment.

Every Tuesday the Oasis playground is full of students, all ages, playing T-Ball, Totem Tennis, Giant Jenga, Skipping, Touch Football, mini tennis, Ten-Pin Bowling, Tug-o-War, Lego building and the popular Slack Lining.

What is also exciting and rewarding for the students is the volunteering of extra staff during their lunch breaks, to join us in the ‘play’.

Tech Free Tuesday is now a regular event every Tuesday.

It complements   the overall Well Being Policy at Camden Haven High School in promoting our vision statement to be known, valued and cared for.
