Manning and Great Lakes Learning Hub students from 2021/2022 have achieved many varied and personal successes. We have welcomed some new and old faces from Yrs 8-12 to both of our venues this year.
Chelsea completed Yr 12 in 2021 and is studying a Bachelor of Law and Arts at Nottre Dame University. She is really enjoying her studies. Chelsea says the course is “quite challenging but the lecturers are so patient and helpful” She finds living in Sydney very fast paced but is in a routine now with which she is comfortable. Chelsea also said that “Personally, I have seen myself and my education progress throughout this year. I am overcoming issues more easily and creating a more healthy lifestyle.” Congratulations to Chelsea on her wonderful transition to university life.
Ben, Amelia & Tahnee are all attending full time TAFE.
Amali is enrolled in a Traineeship at a local Pre School.
Aaron, Joe and Dillan have returned to ‘face to face’ schooling.
Congratulations to Cadence for her excellent engagement in Term 1. She is a ‘Super Star’ achiever of ‘Step Up Cards’.
Tyler is also attending regularly. What an improvement!
Tynan continues to apply himself to his studies and works part time in a local wholesale nursery. His extra curricula activities include music, drawing and photography.
Taegan shows great talent with ‘anime drawing’.
Zac is enjoying Tear 11 and entertains us with his stories and interests.
Emily is busily working toward the completion of her ‘Major works’ which will allow her to showcase her considerable talent and creativity.
Jasmine has been offered part time work at a local café.
