NAPLAN is an annual assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It tests the types of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life. The tests cover skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken every year in the second full week in May.
Distance Education Students
Students who study via distance education can complete the NAPLAN tests three different ways. It is important to notify the school how you would like to complete the test
a. Attend Camden Haven High School during the designated test times
You will be given enough notice to organise travel if this is your preference.
b. Complete the tests at a school closest to you on the designated days
Contact both schools to arrange the test. The school where you would like to do the test is required to issue them on paper, not digitally.
c. Tests can be posted to students on the final assessment day and be returned before the end of May
The test can only be posted after the last day of testing at the face-to-face school. To complete your NAPLAN tests this way:
- ensure Declaration of Confidentiality is posted to ensure it arrives at Camden Haven High School before the testing period
- test papers must be received by Camden Haven High School before the end of May
