Our dedicated students and staff from are once again diving head first into the worlds biggest and most exciting high-school robotics competition! The First Robotics Competition for 2019 asks teams to build a large robot capable of multiple space-themed challenges from scratch in 6 weeks. Sacrificing the last week of their holidays and many weekends the team worked tirelessly to build mechanisms, drive bases, electronics and code to design our most advanced robot yet! As the international stop build date approached the team shifted into high gear, giving their brains a problem-solving workout, but ended up with our most advanced robot yet, including multiple mechanisms and our first foray into the world of pneumatics! A big thanks to all who have helped so far and a call out to any CHHS students who would like to be involved to come and join us! Watch this space to follow the progress of team 6007 Robopod as we rocket into the future with the Sydney regional event on 15 March!
