Eating and Travelling Students make Japanese Treats
09 Mar 2020
Students in the Eating and Travelling around the World class have been studying Japan! As part of their cultural learning they made their own treats known as Pocky.
The students are lucky to have Mrs Nosworthy as their teacher, she has spent a lot of time in Japan and is fluent in Japanese!
Some students in the class were especially inspired by Japan and keen to try matcha flavoured Pocky. They created their own matcha chocolate with special green tea powder and white chocolate (the matcha Pocky is green!). Other students preferred traditional chocolate and some covered their creations in colourful sprinkles.
Soon they will travel to Indonesia and Vietnam - we look forward to the adventures they will have there!
