Work Experience at Dubbo Zoo

Year 12 student Lara Telfer who is currently studying Primary Industries has certainly made the most of her recent Year 12 work placement opportunities. Lara was fortunate enough to secure a highly sought after week as an assistant at Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. Her duties involved, feeding and cleaning of animals as well as maintenance of animal enclosures and associated equipment.

This was a wonderful experience for Lara and a testament to her dedication to animal studies, and a stepping stone towards her dream of becoming a zoo keeper. This is just one of the many opportunities that studying Primary Industries at Camden Haven High School can offer.
