Technology at Home

Devices at Home

Not all students have access to technology at home so we are helping those most in need to ensure continuity of education.

Those families who have requested assistance will be allocated devices in the following manner:

First round of device allocation - prioritises families with no device and/or internet

So far we have handed out 116 laptops to students. Families who were on the first round of device allocation (not having a device and/or internet) based on the survey last term or through phone contact with the school have been allocated a laptop and/or dongle.  An SMS has been sent to the designated families to pick the laptop/s up from the front office from Monday 27th April. The people who requested a dongle in this group will receive one when they arrive.

Second round device allocation

The school ordered a further 200 laptops and 100 internet dongles at the end of Term 1 and hope to have them delivered in Week 1 although there have been postage delays nation-wide. Once these arrive all others who requested laptops and dongles as per the survey and/or contact with the school will receive an SMS to collect from the front office.

Software at Home

All NSW Department of Education school students are eligible to download and licence Adobe and Microsoft software from OnTheHub.

Students will need to use their @education.nsw.gov.au student email address to register on their first visit. See our guide page for more info for students.

Staff have a separate guide page for downloading software from OnTheHub.
